Nathan is right. Because of the world we live in now, it is law to have city officials (because it's a municipal law) to do a health and safety inspection of your kitchen. It not only protects the people eating the food, but you as well, in case you get sued for food poisoning or something like that.

Now, to answer your question about advertising, word of mouth is always the best form of advertisement. Your gift wrapping is a safe bet that it won't come under scrutiny of health and safety inspectors so we'll go with that. If you do something neat and creative, people will notice that and refer them to you. That's just the basic way of the word of mouth concept.
Reply:Make fliers and stick them up at places like grocery stores that allow fliers to be hung on their bulletin boards. Maybe Craigslist lets you advertise for free? A cheap ad in a local paper (pennysaver or something like that?) Word of mouth
Reply:just so you know, you can not sell food unless your kitchen is inspected and certified. 13year olds are better off babysitting their neighbors.
Reply:There are numerous of places on-line to advertise, these are normally associated with you having a website. But you can start with free classifieds. Also, try offline advertising, this will get your business off to a fast start. Below is 118 ways to advertise your business. I suggest you get an adult to assist you. Best of all, keep it simple and fun.

Happy great success
