Fund transfering to a new online CD account disappers, is it normal?

I opened a new online CD account in Capital One. I filled out my checking account information from another bank in the appliation. The fund disappears in the checking account more three business days ago, but no money shows up in the new Capital One account. Capital One says the money is in transit through some clearance procedeure. I am wondering if it's normal for the money to disappear for such long time?

Yes this is normal. Consider weekends, holidays, and such.





I had one recently like that, but in a day or two it finally came through.
