Have you noticed the online job sites seem to have all the same job openings,and worse?

many of the companies they advertise will not except your application from these job sites,yet the online job search engines want you to become a pro member (that is pay them money) for a service Im not sure they can truly or truthfully offer.


I've noticed that once you advertise with thses sites you begin getting emails from industry offering jobs no where near what you specified.


So with this online system of SO CALLED job searchers seemingly broken,what are people doing,especially those in their 40's and early 50's who have much to contribute who were part of the many corporations that went out of business,or perhaps were self employed,and have been unemployed for several years??

Reply:While I don't have much experience in these matters, I would say you are onto something interesting. If you dislike the system, rewrite it! Theres a job opening for that!





(1) Online Job Sites all have homogeneous job openings.


(2) The advertised employers don't accept applications from these sites.


(3) Job sites spam you after you give them information.





Monetization: Pro-Member Access and Advertisements from marketeers and companies. Sale of information to spam lists.





The big question is probably, "How can we monetize the site and still be operating with the customer in mind?". If you can figure that one out and make an online job site (think google-simplicity for jobhunts), you worries will be over.
