I am currently enrolled at the University of Phoenix but I am not thrilled with it. UoP has a "team" aspect that I am trying to get away from. Overall, it has proven to be more a hassle than a learning experience. Also, the classes are only 5 weeks and I personally have a difficult time retaining information that has not been thoroughly covered. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with other online colleges? I currently live in CT if anyone has info on local colleges that offer degree programs. My major is Business Management. UOP is very expensive and very condensed. I would look at the following if you are looking at other online business options
Penn State World
Franklin University
Baker College
Davenport University
Kaplan
Avoid the unaccredited scams like Almeda, Rochville, Warren National, Kennedy Western

Reply:Sal, the beauty of online learning is that you don't have to go to a local school. You could go to a school in another state and be educated by world-class educators anywhere in the country.
