Do i really need a business concentration?

If i get a finance concentration, i will have to drop my Speech and Hearing Sciences minor which i really want to persue with a masters. I will also have one extra year of school because i didnt take the pre-reqs last semester due to some health issues. i had to take online courses and the course i needed wasnt offered. Im now thinking of the general BBA as an option. Could i still find work? I know a year isnt much but it seems like forever living where i live. I just want any degree and then to get outta town. There is not even employment around here. Only at the university itself. Any thoughts? Anyone just get the general business degree?

Work your answer backwards, would a Finance degree support a Masters in Speech and Hearing Sciences? It seems that you've already answered where your focus would be by your declaration of your first Major but I may be underestimating your passion for the second.

Would a BBA still leave you employable? Can you say 'Do you want fries with that?' There are jobs out there for every person independent of their education. The question is if your education would impress a prospective employer enough to let you learn on their time. That answer comes in two factors: your ability to sell yourself as a productive employee and the companies willingness to look beyond the degree when assessing candidates.
