University of Phoenix Online Question???? Please HELP!!!!?

Has anyone out there attended the University of Phoenix Online and had trouble getting their excess financial aid funds? I was told 2 weeks ago that my excess private loan funds were put in the mail and sent to me (in excess of $13,000). I was told that it could take up to 7-10 BUSINESS days for me to receive my money. I still haven't received it. I get the run around from my finance counselor. Anyone in their right minds knows that it doesn't take that long for something to go from Arizona to Michigan (where I live) -- unless they are sending it Pony Express! I even checked with my local post office and they told me the slowest mail (media mail which is used to mail magazines) doesn't take that long! Anyone else had such problems with U o P? I'd like to hear your stories and how you finally got your problem solved and got your money. Thanks for the help!

University of Phoenix Online Question???? Please HELP!!!!?
I work for the university of phoenix and usually they will not let you take out a private loan unless you need it to cover your tuition and if that was the case it would not be sent to you it would be used to cover the costs of the school. I would check on your account on the website and see if there is a refund due there. Usually once my financial aid is disbursed it takes 7-10 days before it is mailed out and then it is 5-7 days before i recieve it in the mail. So if you are not able to see anything on your account online then i would call your Finance counselor and see if you are getting a private loan sent out to you.
Reply:All kinds of people have all KINDS of problems with the "University" of Phoenix...both with their courses and with financial arrangements. It would be best if you started by sending them a registered letter....if nothing happens be prepared to use a legal approach. It might take a LONG time to recover your money ... but don't give up.
